Answer:
Insurance plans vary, but most office visits with Dr. Shapiro can be covered by health insurance if there is an underlying medical condition/diagnosis.

What does Dr. Shapiro's weight loss program entail?
Answer:
New patients have a 1 hour initial consultation with Dr. Shapiro during which a medical history is obtained, to formulate the diagnostic & treatment plan. The plan is individualized, and may include dietary, exercise, medication and/or behavioral interventions as well as additional testing. Follow-up appointments are scheduled as needed, to include visits with the Lifestyle Therapist for further diet and exercise counseling, as well as with Dr. Shapiro for clinical treatment.
